“The Outstanding Senior Leadership CPLD course enabled me to reflect on my role as a middle leader and prepare me for my first role as a senior leader. I received guidance and feedback on my AHT applications which helped me to secure my first role on a Leadership Team.” Adam Collyer, Assistant Head Teacher, The Saint Philip Howard Catholic School.
“As a Salaried School Direct trainee I was both challenged and supported in an outstanding school environment. With excellent mentoring I felt that I made more rapid and sustained progress than my fellow PGCE colleagues. Additional training days held by the Teaching School Alliance allowed me the opportunity to grow and reflect as a teacher. The School Direct route gave me more control over the ethos and location of the school I wanted to train in, whilst still gaining a PGCE with QTS.” Lizzie Lynch, Science Teacher, The Saint Philip Howard Catholic School.

Teaching and learning is at the heart of everything that we do.
We stem from a group of faith based schools where our ethos is unchanging, despite the ever dynamic world of educational reforms.
